A high-quality gelling agent for preparing solid and semi-solid plant tissue culture media.
Add to your culture medium formulation to create a stable growing surface for in-vitro plant cultures.
Why use agar?
Agar is one of the fundamental components used in solid plant tissue culture media.
When added to an appropriate culture medium and prepared correctly, agar creates a gel-like surface that supports plant material during in-vitro culture.

The tissue culture agar provides:

A stable surface for plant material and explants.
Medium structure
Transforms an appropriate liquid formulation into a gelled culture medium.
Flexibility
Can be used alongside different basal media and formulations.
Compatible with your own formulations
Plant Tissue Culture Agar can preferably be used alongside:
Or other suitable plant tissue culture formulations.
