STAGE 1

ESTABLISH

The tissue culture journey begins with a small piece of plant tissue introduced into sterile tissue culture media. Our nutrient-rich Establishment Medium supports its development, while we monitor the culture for healthy growth and signs of contamination.

STAGE 2

MULTIPLY

Once the culture is established, we encourage new shoots to develop by transferring it to our Multiplication Medium. Here shoots will start to multiply and by carefully dividing and gradually transferring to fresh multiplication medium, the process can continue thus allowing us to propagate an infinite amount of tissue cultures.

STAGE 3

ROOT

At the rooting stage, individual shoots are moved to our Rooting Medium which supports healthy root development. As roots form and the plants continue to grow, they prepare for the transition out of tissue culture.

STAGE 4

ACCLIMATE

Rooted plantlets are removed from culture, gently cleaned and planted in our custom-made Aroid Acclimation Substrate and Acclimation Cups. Humidity is gradually reduced as they adjust to life outside the culture vessel and develop into established young plants!
